Thank you for your interest in auditioning for our next pantomime, Babes in the Wood.

Peter Whitley (Co-Director), Judith Chapman (Co-Director & Choreographer) and Geoff Garrett (Musical Director), will lead the production of this classic written by the kings of Pantomime, Keith Marsden and Geoffrey Rundle.

We need two pairs of children able to take the lead roles of ‘Babes’. The pairs will perform at four performances each and then be in the chorus for the other four performances. When parents register their child they should indicate whether they want them to be considered for lead speaking roles (The Babes) and/or, the Kiddies Chorus.

Children auditioning for the ‘Kiddies Chorus’ should be between 7 and 12 on the day of the audition and must be able to sing and dance. The auditions will be held on Saturday 16th September from 9.30am. The auditions for dancers and chorus, who should be 13 and over, will also be held on that day at 1.30m.Auditions for adult principal roles will be held during late August and early September. More information to follow.

Auditions will be held at the society’s rehearsal rooms, ‘The KAODS Rehearsal Studio’ at the Airevalley Business Centre on Lawkholme Lane, just after ‘The Original Factory Shop’
